How to keep flowers fresh in a vase:

Oh, did you just go shopping and snag some flowers from the flower stand????

Well, not what do you do now that you brought them home...........

Here is all my tips for keeping your flowers fresh and happy!

1. Cut your stems at a 45-degree angle. (Be sure not to cut on a node, Google what it means, but basically not on a place where there are leaves)

2. Place cool water in a vase with flower food.

3. Keep away from windows.

4. Never place them in a warm space like your kitchen or up high. 

5. Keep them away from fruit, veggies, and exhaust from your car. All of these have the potential to spread bad bacteria to the flowers.

6. Replace water every 2 days, and re-cut stems every 4 days.
