Simple Floral Banister

Never say.....I don't have all the right tools. Flowers don't have to be that complicated! Above is an example of a floral install I did.

With 1' of twine, 3 branches, and about 30 sunflowers.

Now because there was no water source in the design it didn't last long....But if we are all honest most parties end within 4 hours and then it is all over...... And that is about as long as something like this will last!!!

It is perfect....especially if you are not looking to get too technical.

How to: Cut 3 branches that are fresh and flexible..... Make sure the span of all three branches will be as long as you need to fill the banister.

Wrap the branches around the spindles and handrail. Once you have done all three branches by tying the branches at the top, middle, and end with the twine.

Flower banister

Giving your design a tad more security.

Next, cut your sunflowers to a medium length (we will trim them again once placed) Slide the sunflowers in between the branches and leaves wherever they will rest nicely.

Repeat this process all the way up the banister.

You will notice the stems are waaay too long. Just go in and trim them off.... Boom....a gorgeous banister display of fall.

Your Flower Farmer,

Kathryn.
